<High Caliber Adventures>

Travel Information

All High Caliber adventure trips originate from Chilliwack B.C., right in the heart of the coastal mountain range (see map of southern British Columbia at the bottom of the page). Chilliwack is 3 hours north of Seattle and 1.5 hours east of Vancouver, Canada.

Flight Information

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) (www.yvr.com) is a major hub for international airline traffic. We offer airport shuttle service to and from YVR for $100CDN each way.

Abbottsford International Airport (YXX) (www.abbotsfordairport.ca) is only 40min. east of Chilliwack and offers daily flights to and from Calgary and Edmonton Alberta. Shuttle service complimentary to and from YXX.

Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA) (www.portseattle.org/seatac/) is approx. 3 hours south of Chilliwack. There is a $300CDN charge for shuttle service from SeaTac to Chilliwack (each way).

What To Bring:

For all inclusive trips, High Caliber will supply everything except personal effects, sleeping bags, and alcohol. Please inquire if you have any questions whatsoever. Our U.S. friends do not require a passport until 2008 to come to Canada. Make sure to bring your camera and your favorite binoculars as they will see frequent use.

Weather:

The Fraser Valley is a beautiful region with mild (but rainy) winters and warm summers. Average tempartures range from 50 to 80 degrees F depending on time of year. Our fall season is spectacular, boasting t-shirt days and fireside nights. Wet weather gear will be supplied (for non-hunting adventures).
